Configure workflows without code. Govern them like code.

Every business unit can run risk, exception, third-party, evidence and notification workflows its own way, with no development work. Every change to a workflow is validated, simulated, approved, versioned and reversible.

Overview

What No-Code Workflow Configuration does

Workflows in RiskVantis are configured, not coded. Each organisation chooses how risks and findings become Active: the Risk Team defines the plan, the Action Owner defines it for Risk Owner and CISO approval, or the Security Team routes each approval. CISO approval thresholds follow severity. Security exceptions route by severity to one or two approval levels, all or any, sequentially or in parallel, behind approval, collaboration and evidence gates, with stage SLAs in business days. Third-party governance sets approvers, segregation of duties, review intervals, assessment depth and evidence rules per tier. Reminder and escalation policies, notification rules, email templates, digests and email decisions are set per organisation and per event.

Workflow configuration is change-controlled the way enterprise IT expects. The Workflow Designer catalogues every workflow and the rules that can never be weakened. A change is drafted, validated against those rules, simulated on real cases without creating anything, approved by a different CISO or Admin, then activated for the whole company or for one organisation. Records already in flight keep the version they started with. Rollback and Restore Default are one step away, a tampered or invalid configuration fails closed, and every settings change is audited with its old and new values.

Capabilities

Key capabilities

01

Per-organisation workflows

Each business unit, region or subsidiary runs its own treatment, approval and notification set-up.

02

Approval routing

Single or multi-level, all-or-any, sequential or parallel, with thresholds by severity and tier.

03

Segregation of duties built in

Requesters, submitters and reviewers can't approve, and nobody approves two steps.

04

SLAs, reminders & escalation

Before, on and after due dates, in calendar or business days, with escalation to roles and personas.

05

Simulate before you activate

Validate a change against protected rules and run it on real cases without creating anything.

06

Versioned and reversible

Approval by a second administrator, per-organisation activation, pinned executions and one-step rollback.

Benefits

The business case.

Efficiency, multi-framework alignment, reduced complexity and streamlined processes: what No-Code Workflow Configuration changes for your programme.

Potential savings
>70%

Less configuration effort

Process changes take minutes in settings instead of a development cycle.

Achieving compliance
Change-controlled

Workflow changes are evidence too

Every change is simulated, approved, versioned and audited.

Risk reduction
Never weaker by accident

Protected rules

Invariants can't be configured away, and loosening a rule asks for explicit confirmation.

Streamlined processes
Fits your organisation

Different units, different routes

Business units run the process that suits them under one governance model.

Efficiency figures compare the effort of each workflow cycle in RiskVantis with the same work done manually or in a traditional GRC tool. Your result depends on your starting point; we will model it with you in a demo.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do we need developers to change a workflow?

No. Approval routes, thresholds, SLAs, reminders, escalations, notifications and governance rules are set in Settings, and the Workflow Designer adds simulation, approval and rollback.

Can different business units use different workflows?

Yes. Set a company default and override it per organisation. Records already in flight keep the configuration they started with.

Can someone weaken a control by misconfiguring a workflow?

No. Protected rules can't be configured away, changes are approved by a second administrator, and an invalid or tampered configuration stops the action rather than falling back to a weaker one.
