Privacy assessments that rules decide and people approve.

Record processing activities and run PIAs and DPIAs under versioned methodologies for EU GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, India's DPDP Act and HIPAA. Rules decide screening and requirement status, and AI helps you capture the facts.

Overview

What Privacy Impact Assessment does

Each assessment runs under a versioned methodology: EU GDPR DPIA, UK GDPR DPIA, California CCPA/CPRA risk assessment, India DPDP Act DPIA, HIPAA privacy and security risk analysis, or an internal PIA. Screening is rule-based and cites the legal source of each trigger. The questionnaire adapts, asking extra questions only when relevant, for example about AI, biometrics, children, health or cross-border transfers. Requirement status comes from your answers, never from AI. Risks to individuals become draft risks in the Risk Register, and unmet requirements can raise findings.

Privacy Intelligence helps you capture facts quickly. Describe a project in plain words, or extract from documents including scanned ones read by local OCR, and every identified fact keeps its source and confidence until a person accepts it. Submitted versions are locked and reviewed exactly as submitted. Strict separation of duties applies, and legal blockers can't be overridden. Approved assessments are never rewritten: changes to vendors, data, countries or AI use raise reassessment proposals.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is the output legal advice?

No. Applicability and requirement status come from rules, and reports carry a not-legal-advice notice. Your privacy and legal teams record their own view.

Does AI decide whether a DPIA is required?

No. Screening and requirement status are rule-based. AI only proposes facts, which a person accepts or rejects.

Are confidential documents sent to AI?

Documents classified Restricted are never sent to an AI provider, and scanned documents are read by local OCR on the server.
