Give auditors a structured way to validate.
Run each auditor validation as a governed request. The auditor reviews in rounds, asks for information or evidence, records observations and decides at control and evidence level, and every message stays on record.
Owner notified by email · Due in 5 days · Full history retained for audit.
3 gaps identified; 2 map to existing risks, 1 proposed as a new finding. Approve or reject each before accepting.

What Auditor Request Validation does
A New Validation Request names the auditor, a user holding the Auditor persona, plus the scope, optionally a Control Register control, and the instructions. The auditor reviews in rounds. They can ask for more information or evidence, which creates a governed evidence request, record observations and promote an observation to a finding.
Decisions are recorded at control level and evidence level, and the request ends with an overall decision such as Approved, Declined or Needs More Info. Every decision and message is kept in the request's history, so the audit conversation stays complete and in one place instead of in email.
