Fix the cause, not a hundred symptoms.

The Remediation Assistant reads every open risk and its linked findings. It tells you which few root causes explain most of them, which controls they break, the order to fix them in and how an attacker could chain them together.

Overview

What AI Remediation Assistant does

Most risk registers are long lists of symptoms. The Remediation Assistant gathers open risks and their linked findings, maps the impacted controls and correlates common root causes. The root causes are numbered in the order to fix them, each with an explanation, remediation steps and the linked risks, findings and controls. Create Tasks turns each step into an owned task, without duplicating steps that already have one.

Breach paths show risks in the order they could be exploited, how the attack would play out and the MITRE ATT&CK techniques involved. Public evidence is verified: every CVE is checked against the US National Vulnerability Database, known-exploited status comes from the CISA catalogue, and CVE identifiers that don't exist are struck through. The assistant is advisory only and changes no risks, findings or tasks unless you create them.

Key capabilities

01

Common root causes

Numbered in the order to fix them, with the IDs that support each one.

02

Impacted controls

Which controls each root cause undermines, and what that means for compliance.

03

One-click tasks

Turn remediation steps into owned tasks with editable wording, owner and date.

04

Breach paths

Exploitation order, attack narrative and MITRE ATT&CK techniques.

05

Verified CVEs

Checked against NVD and CISA known-exploited data; invented identifiers are struck through.

06

Analysis history

Every run is kept so you can see how root causes change over time.

Links are built by RiskVantis from verified sources, never taken from the AI.

Efficiency figures compare the effort of each workflow cycle in RiskVantis with the same work done manually or in a traditional GRC tool. Your result depends on your starting point; we will model it with you in a demo.

How it works

FAQ

Common questions.

Does the assistant change any records?

No. It produces an analysis. Tasks are created only when you choose Create Tasks and confirm the details.

How do you stop the AI inventing vulnerabilities?

Every CVE is checked against the US National Vulnerability Database and known-exploited status comes from CISA. Identifiers that don't exist are struck through, and links are built from those sources.

Can we see previous analyses?

Yes. Each run is stored in analysis history.
